Sorry it's been a while...

My initial love for blogging slowly tapered out and is now a passing fancy... Except no one these days uses the word "fancy" like that. A.k.a.: "I fancy that hat"...

Yes. So since I last blogged... My sister got married!!! She's now Mrs. Linders. Jocelyn Linders. Mrs. David Linders. WHOA! It was a great wedding:

Unique things about it:
--Both the bride and groom's grandpas were involved, one with Scripture reading and the other with a prayer blessing
--Bride and groom took communion together
--The ceremony music was actually good (it was even phenomenal)
--David washed my sister's feet, which made me and every other person there cry
--My littlest brother, Raju, walked my mom down the aisle
--David and Jocelyn passed out roses to the Grandmothers and Mothers at the beginning of the ceremony
--My brother and I, both Groomsmen, MC'd the reception
--The pastor--David's pastor--gave a great short message about compassion and forgiveness from Colossians 3

Just plain Awesome things about it:
--My sister has never looked so happy in her entire life
--My sister and mom both looked gorgeous
--David's explanation of the Foot Washing was heartwrenchingly awesome
--Everybody had fun at the reception (I think)
--Jocelyn looked WONDERFUL
--My girlfriend Rebecca got to come! :)

Anyways... a week before the wedding...

Rebecca and I had our first kiss... :) :) :) :) :)

And that's all I need to say about that... ;)

Except also that it's really fun... and in each kiss I seek to bless her, rather than simply to take pleasure from it.

So God continues to be good, and to produce in me "repentence and a knowledge of the truth".
